Slow Mindful Flow

The power of slow mindful yoga lies in the carefully selected movement sequences which are designed using research-based neuroscience principles. These movements are then blended with traditional yoga postures to strengthen brain function and improve memory, focus and concentration. Intentional slow movement restores calm and builds nervous system resilience. Flexibility, coordination and functional movement are fundamental to this practice. Suitable for everyone.

Restorative

This practice incorporates gentle postures and intentionally links pranayama (breath-work) with movement and deep guided relaxation. This practice encourages and supports the release of muscle tension and helps to calm and relax a busy mind. Props and modifications make this practice perfect for those new to yoga, recovering from injury or illness or simply wanting to soak up the beauty of yoga in a gentle and supportive way.

Yoga Nidra

The powerful practice of Yoga Nidra is a spiritual blend of conscious relaxation and meditative visualization. Through the regular practice of Yoga Nidra you will gain tools to help manage stress, reduce anxiety and create opportunities to calm the nervous system.

Yoga for Pelvic Health

This practice focuses on building strength and stabilization in the pelvic floor. It teaches movements that allow for a softening to over worked muscles or strengthening of weak muscles.  By taking time to connect the brain and body in a way that serves overall health, issues related to lower back pain, pelvic pain, organ prolapse and mild incontinence are addressed.

Private & Semi-Private

Private, semi-private and small group classes allow for the sharing of positive energy in a safe and inclusive space.

Laura recognizes that sometimes being part of a large class is not the best fit. She strives to customizing her classes to meet the personal needs and interests of her clientele.

Clients who may be recovering from injury, suffering from arthritis, pelvic health issues or have other health or fitness concerns will be carefully listened too and guided through their yoga practice with the greatest of attention.
